To me, the process of learning and expanding one’s thought process is far more fulfilling than the final outcome. I have integrated my desire to constantly improve into photography.
I strongly believe in experimentation. Trying and failing are essential elements to success and, in some cases lead to magical moments. I look for new ideas from all facets of my life.
I have a natural curiosity with understanding more about people and our surroundings. Rather than seeing what is just ahead of me, it leads me to look up & down, behind, and in all directions. My passion is looking for and creating patterns in what others would consider the day to day. I take note of geographic shapes buried in architecture or images reflected in a puddle.
I was not born into the arts; my proud Greek parents encouraged math and science. My passion for photography came later in my adult life. I started taking photos on a trip to San Diego and instantly fell in love with the art of photography. From that point on, I have been hooked and take photos anywhere and everywhere.
Today, more than ever, I am drawn to creative people and enjoy the mutual exchange of ideas and passion.
